Toni Hadad

FOUNDER/President/Caretaker

Growing up around horses and falling in love with them, I realized these animals had a very spiritual connection. At this stage in my life, I wanted to find a job where I could give back to the community and be around animals again. I am happy to be finally sharing my horses with others and letting them experience their amazing benefits.

Krista Johnson Martin

Public Relations/Board member and Volunteer

Krista Martin is a long-time horse lover and equestrian. Growing up, she competed regionally throughout the Midwest and went on to ride for Mount Holyoke College, winning a National Intercollegiate Champion title while she was a student there. She has taken time away from both her competitive riding and her career as a public relations executive to focus on raising her children. So she is excited to be able to get her equine fix and serve the local community as a volunteer for Lifting Spirits. Krista also helps out with fundraising and public relations.

Mary Driscoll

Volunteer

Mary Driscoll has always enjoyed caring for animals, both big and small, since she was a child. It wasn’t until she attended UMASS Amherst, where she first set foot on a farm, that she discovered her passion working with large animals including sheep, goats, pigs, and equines. She graduated in 2019 majoring in Pre-veterinarian sciences and will be pursuing her dreams of becoming a large animal veterinarian at St. George’s University in Grenada this fall. Mary enjoys serving the community through wonderful programs such as Lifting Spirits, spreading the word that the loving connection between animals and humans is both beneficial and precious.

Anita Morley White

Being of service to others and spending time with animals are two of Anita's greatest passions. She has always felt a special connection to horses, so when she found Lifting Spirits it was a perfect way for her to give back and to be in the presence of these magical beings. Anita loves watching the horses gently and intuitively respond to people of all ages, bringing smiles and love wherever they go.
